fiveways Learn is the older version of the app. It mainly provides content to read, watch, and work through.

The new fiveways app has been extensively developed and improved. It includes new and revised content as well as many new features and is much more interactive. The app is designed for regular, ideally daily use and supports you with personalized recommendations, Mini-Quests, Guides, check-ins, and visible progress.

fiveways also adapts more closely to your interests, goals, and the topics that are currently relevant to you. Features such as points, streaks, badges, and levels make your activities and development more visible.

You can also easily tell the two apps apart:

• You can recognize fiveways Learn by the name “fiveways Learn” and its blue design.
• The new app is simply called “fiveways.”

So, if you want to use the current, interactive, and personalized version with the new content and features, make sure you open fiveways and not fiveways Learn.

Yes. For SRH students and apprentices, fiveways is permanently free to use.

Students at other universities can also use fiveways: Starting in October 2026, the app will be available to them free of charge for six months.
